Living a Plant Based Lifestyle
Now, after doing your research you want to learn more about alternatives for healthy living and whole foods, you may want to consider more nutritious non-meat alternatives. Amongst these alternatives are Macrobiotics, Vegan and Raw-Food approaches. Each will be explored in subsequent pages in this section.
Before we go there, a bit more on healthy diets. If you do your research, you will find that a Mediterranean Diet is considered one of the more healthy and robust approaches. The Mediterranean Diet incorporates the basics of healthy eating — plus a splash of flavorful olive oil and perhaps a glass of red wine — among other components characterizing the traditional cooking style of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. This healthy diet includes fruits, vegetables, fish, whole grains, and limited healthy fats. A Mediterranean diet may be considered a 'gateway' approach to a more Holistic eating lifestyle that will help you mover toward ever more healthy Whole Food consumption.
While we accept that the Mediterranean diet is healthy, we continue to promote a completely Plant Based Nutritional approach. This eliminates totally the 'bad fats' and other harmfull foods and food additives found in meat, fish, poultry and all dairy products.
We will now address a more Holistic lifestyle represented by consumption of organically grown Whole Food!
We focus on three primary nutritional approaches. While many books and articles are written about them, they are all founded on Plant Based Nutrition!
We often cater or attend various events, parties and social gatherings where we join with others to enjoy our Plant Based Nutrition:
